Accident Procedure

If there is an accident at the pool/facility, the following procedure must be followed:
1 – Club officials/teachers/coaches to ensure everyone is safe.

2 – Inform the pool\facility staff who will assess the situation and then follow their emergency plans. The swimmers and members will be directed by the facility’s staff.

3 – All coaches\teachers carry telephone numbers of their swimmers. The swimmer’s parents must be recalled immediately.

4 – An accident report must be completed.

5 – The incident must be recorded in the Club Accident / Incident books through the Club Administrator. If appropriate the club’s Welfare Officer must be notified.

6 – Inform club insurer (if appropriate this will be done by the Club Administrator or the Welfare Officer).

EASTER HOLIDAY TIMETABLE

Please note that there will be no squad training due to the Easter Bank Holidays on the following dates:

  • Friday 19th April – Good Friday
  • Sunday 21st April – Easter Sunday
  • Monday 22nd April – Bank Holiday Monday

All swimmer should aim to pick up alternative sessions to make their squads training requirements.
