Warm Weather Training Camp

We are exploring the possibility of organising a Warm Weather Training Camp abroad for our Performance and Regional Squad swimmers.

This camp would give swimmers the opportunity to train in excellent facilities, increase their training focus, and benefit from a professional team training environment.

Proposed Camp Details

Location: Barceló Active Resort, Costa Teguise – Lanzarote, Spain
Dates: 25 October – 30 October 2026
Duration: 6 days / 5 nights

Training Facilities

The resort offers excellent facilities regularly used by professional training groups.

Swimmers would benefit from:

• 50m Olympic outdoor pool (10 lanes)
• Heated pool (approximately 26.5°C year-round)
• 10 × 2-hour swim training sessions
• Strength & conditioning sessions in the resort gym
• Full coaching supervision throughout the camp

Accommodation & Meals

Swimmers will stay at the 4★ Barceló Active Resort in Costa Teguise.

• Twin rooms (2 swimmers sharing)
• All-Inclusive meals during the stay
• Full use of resort facilities

Travel Arrangements

Parents will be responsible for dropping swimmers at the chosen London airport for the group flight departure.

Airport transfers will be provided in Lanzarote only, between Lanzarote Airport and the resort.

Estimated Cost

The estimated cost for the camp is approximately:

£1400 per swimmer. Based on 18 swimmers and 2 Adults.

• All-inclusive meals
• Pool hire and training sessions
• Gym access
• Airport transfers in Lanzarote
• Coaching supervision
• Local support services
• Flights

Expression of Interest Required

At this stage, we need to understand how many swimmers would be interested so that we can secure the required number of places.

If your swimmer would be interested in attending this training camp, please confirm by Sunday 8th March.

The camp will only proceed if we have sufficient interest from swimmers.
