Please see note from Borough of Waltham Forest SC

To all Clubs entered into our Gala on 8th July,

Thank you for supporting our gala and thank you for helping us to fill those few spaces we had remaining and also to some more clubs entering the 13 and under relays. Still a few relay spaces if interested... Unfortunately we cannot run the 14 and over relays as only two clubs entered and this does not make the races feasible or competitive. We shall refund any monies.

Please see attached the accepted entries and final arrangements.

Please can you check and double check the entries, make sure names are spelt correctly and that Swim England numbers are correct and linked to your club (some recent movements) so that there are no issues for rankings when updating our results files after the event.

Please note that there is a large scale event at the Park the same weekend run by Shell UK however this should not affect parking or our event once inside the venue. We are still required to use Westfield for parking as normal but our entrance will now be on the lower concourse and not at the usual entrance on the upper concourse. Please see walking map for access to the reception area.

We are looking forward to another great event and some competitive swims from all our swimmers.

If there are any amendments, withdrawals please inform me asap.

Any final withdrawals by Friday 6th July please just to help us make sure the day runs smoothly.

To all clubs attending our Gala next Sunday,

We have made a slight change to the starting time upon assessment of the entry restrictions to the venue and information provided by the LAC.

Doors will open at approximately the same time however the warm up and start of the gala will be slightly later. This should make for a more relaxed start to the day.

Our license states that we are having sign in and this will still happen, although we are going to consider withdrawals only for our next gala. If you have any withdrawals please could you inform me of those by Friday evening as this makes the whole process much simpler on the day.

New times:

Session 1

Warm up Boys 8.30am  Girls 8.50am

15 minutes warm up, 5 minute sprint lanes

Start 9.15am

We hope this will facilitate easy access to the venue and accommodate those clubs that are travelling a long distance. We do not have a warm down facility and we use the main pool for our warm up sessions however the training pool is open on that day.

We hope your travel to the venue is uneventful and that you join us with ease and that we all have a great day of racing.

Please see attached the accepted entries after the current withdrawals and amendment including relay entries and the final, final arrangements.

£6.00 per event
