We trust this finds you safe and well
Following the latest update regarding the Covid-19 pandemic, The Borough of Harrow Swimming Club will be suspending all activities from the end of play on Wednesday 4th November 2020.
As a result of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and government advice, our operations will be suspended Thursday 5th November 2020 and will remain suspended until Wednesday 2nd December.
We sincerely apologise for the inevitable inconvenience that this will cause our members, but we ask that you understand that this is an unprecedented situation and that we are all working to make the best decisions for our staff and members.
Squad training will remain open as normal up to and including Wednesday 4th November.
Whilst we understand this may cause a level of frustration, especially at this very challenging time, we do ask you to “Stand by your club” and where possible, refrain from claim refunds. This will enable us, as a non-profit organisation to provide our excellent services and training back to you as soon as possible.
Fitness and wellbeing are an important part of people’s lives and staying fit and active is a good way to build resilience.
The club will be running between 3 to 5 Online Zoom land training sessions weekly for all swimmers lead by our head coach Daniel Andrawos starting on Monday 7th November. We encourage everyone to join and continue to remain as active as possible. Details will follow soon.
We will continue to monitor the situation and will keep our members up to date with any changes and relevant information regarding reopening via email, website, and social media pages.
We at the executive committee wishes to express our deepest thanks for the continued support and commitment you have shown the coaching team and us. We all face a very uncertain future but we will, together, come through the other side stronger and with renewed motivation.
We have bounced back once; we are hopeful with your continued support we will do so again in the coming weeks.
Stay safe and healthy, look after your loved ones and neighbours.
Our sincerest regards
The Borough of Harrow Swimming Club
